Celebrating Growth and Resilience: CASS’s Journey

October 23 marked a monumental day for CASS.

What began with a modest team of 20 employees working in Terminal 3 carousels quickly turned into a daily operation involving approximately 60 employees across both terminals. This transition represented a significant milestone for our company, bringing a steep learning curve and countless new experiences.

As we embarked on this journey, we were met with numerous challenges, ranging from equipment failures, such as tractors breaking down, to the unpredictable weather conditions of heavy rain and the harsh winter season. We also had to adapt to new posts and ensure incoming team members were effectively trained and supported in settling into their new environment. Despite these initial struggles, the CASS team demonstrated remarkable resilience, unity, and growth. We faced adversity head-on and emerged as a stronger team and a family. Through dedication, teamwork, and perseverance, we overcame each obstacle together. I am proud that CASS has grown significantly since those early days.

We have developed a strong work ethic that is evident across all operations. Our teams consistently follow workplace protocols, missed baggage has become a rarity, and we have established a positive and professional work environment for everyone.

I want to take a moment to say how grateful I am for everyone who plays a part in what we do every day—from my duty managers and supervisors, whose steady leadership keeps things moving, to all of our exceptional employees, whose hard work and dedication make everything possible.

Stephanie and Matthew – Thank you for your continued dedication and hard work in scheduling. Your efforts have been essential in keeping our operations running smoothly.

Crystal and Logan – Thank you to the recruitment team for continuously bringing in great talent and helping build our future.

Clovis and Stewart – Your commitment to training has ensured our team members are confident and well-prepared for their roles.

Niko – Thank you for preparing us for this contract and for all the support along the way.

Jack – A special thank you for being my biggest support throughout this journey. Your partnership and encouragement mean the world.

Lastly, I’m excited to welcome the next generation of future CASS leaders:

Baby Jasiah (Toni-Ann’s son) – Our future supervisor.

Baby Liam (Anne’s son) – A future scheduler in the making.

Baby Mila (Antonia’s daughter / my granddaughter) – Her role is still undecided, but we already know she’ll be taking charge, whether in management or recruitment—and let’s be honest, she’ll probably be bossy, just like her grandmother.

Baby Owen (Jack’s son) – A future operations manager with great things ahead.

Once again, thank you all for your hard work. CASS continues to grow stronger every day because of each of you. Let’s keep moving forward— The CASS Way.

We have developed a strong work ethic that is evident across all operations. Our teams consistently follow workplace protocols, missed baggage has become a rarity, and we have established a positive and professional work environment for everyone.
