To all of our new team members— welcome to AAI. And to all returning employees, thank you for the ongoing commitment you bring daily. We’re officially kicking off what will be one of the busiest and most critical operational seasons we’ve ever seen. We’ve been preparing for this, and now the work begins.
Let me be clear: I couldn’t be prouder of the team we’ve built. Since the first day we went live at YYC in October 2018, AAI has continued to grow, evolve, and exceed expectations. We’ve built our name on trust, consistency, and performance—and we’re just getting started.
We’re known across the airport for showing up when it matters most, doing the job right, and backing each other up. That’s the AAI standard. And that doesn’t happen by accident—it happens because of the people we hire and the leadership we demonstrate at every level.
We Set the Tone—We Lead by Example
This year, more than ever, we’re asking everyone, regardless of title or tenure, to lead by example. That means:
- Showing up fit for duty—ready to work, alert, and focused
- Wearing PPE properly at all times— no shortcuts, no excuses
- Following procedures, being accountable, and owning the result
- Treating others with respect— whether it’s your first week or the beginning of your seventh year
When you lead by example, others follow. And when every team on the ground is doing that, that’s how we win. That’s how we stay respected. That’s how AAI keeps raising the bar.
Pride in What We Do—And How We Do It
We don’t just fill shifts—we move infrastructure. We’ve successfully delivered Surveillance Escort services for a wide range of critical projects at YYC—whether operating as a D AVOP, DA AVOP, or Surveillance Escort. Our ability to adapt and deliver has made us the go-to team for high-demand, high-trust work on the airfield. And that’s no accident—it’s the result of leading by example daily.
Take pride in the uniform. Take pride in the standard you uphold. AAI isn’t just a workplace—it’s a crew. A team. And that means something here.
Look Out for One Another
We’re also not blind to what’s happening globally. We’re living in uncertain times—politically, economically, and socially. All of that makes it even more important to look after what we can control: your health, your well-being, your family, and your team.
Suppose someone’s having a rough day—step in. If you need help, reach out. We’re not here to walk alone. We’re here to carry the load together.
This is the Start of Something Big
We’ve got a lot of work ahead—but we’ve got the right people to do it. So, gear up, show up, and lead from the front. Let’s set the pace for what excellence looks like.
I believe in this team. I believe in what we’re building. And I can’t wait to see what we accomplish together.
