To our Support Team and Supervisors— thank you.
Before a single boot hits the ground, before the first gate opens, before the first project even breaks, an engine drives this operation. That engine comprises our support staff— scheduling, HR, Training, Compliance, Mobilization, and Administration—and our frontline supervisors, who have been instrumental in bridging planning with execution.
This team has pulled off outstanding work in preparation for the 2025 infrastructure season at YYC. The volume of planning, onboarding, training, certifications, AVOP upgrades, equipment sourcing, and forecasting hours has been nonstop and done with precision, urgency, and pride.
Prepared. Professional. Relentless.
Since late 2024, this team has been operating at full throttle. Let’s not forget:
- Massive hiring waves are being completed to meet infrastructure needs
- Coordination of D and DA AVOP theory/practical training
- Realignment of schedules to ensure we’re fit for growth and scalable
- AVOP compliance, security clearances, mobilization/ demobilization plans—all dialled in
- Seamless coordination across multiple stakeholders, contractors, and departments
- Supervisors working hand-in-hand with Ops and Training to ensure crews are supported, briefed, and site-ready
Every form is processed, every shift is planned, every license is tracked, every onboarding is completed, and every concern is addressed on the ground. That’s the invisible workload that makes the visible success happen.
