Armed with a degree in Business Management, he embarked on a 30+ year career with the Greater Toronto Airports Authority who operate Toronto Pearson that would see him rise through the ranks with unwavering determination and a keen eye for innovation.

One of Darin’s most notable contributions to the industry lies in his extensive experience in baggage operations. Having led numerous large-scale projects aimed at optimizing baggage processes, Darin has garnered a reputation for his exceptional ability to streamline operations and enhance efficiency. His past roles have seen him tackle challenges ranging from baggage tracking and sorting to optimizing baggage claim procedures, all with a relentless focus on delivering top-notch service to passengers.

But Darin’s influence extends far beyond his individual achievements. As a visionary leader, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the future of baggage handling through his leadership of the Baggage Innovation Working Group that includes over 100 international members comprised of airlines, airports and baggage suppliers and service providers, including CASS!

Under his guidance, this influential working group has brought together industry stakeholders, technology experts, and thought leaders to collaborate on groundbreaking solutions that push the boundaries of what’s possible in baggage handling.
